Tasha Hines, MOT, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist


Tasha is an Occupational Therapist with 15 years of experience. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sports Science with a minor in Biology from North Carolina University and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Towson University. As a former college and semi-professional athlete, she has extensive knowledge in Anatomy & Physiology, Kinesiology, splinting, and taping.
From 2005 to 2012, Tasha worked as a Behavioral Specialist and Habilitation Technician, providing intensive individual support, respite care, and therapeutic services to children and young adults with Autism and other disabilities. She has also served as an Occupational Therapist at the VA Medical Center in Baltimore, MD, delivering Occupational Therapy and mental health services to veterans with severe and persistent mental illness. Additionally, she has experience working in inpatient acute care at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital in Baltimore, MD and outpatient pediatrics in Georgia and Hawaii.
Tasha has provided Occupational Therapy services with an emphasis on intensive care, neurology, orthopedics, surgical care, NICU, and burns. She has extensive experience treating pediatric patients with a variety of diagnoses, including Autism, Down Syndrome, developmental delays, and chromosomal abnormalities.
In 2015, Tasha received certification in The Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, followed by certification in Handwriting Without Tears in 2016. She is passionate about helping patients achieve their goals and increase their independence, while making therapy fun, creative, and engaging.
In her free time, Tasha enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, being active with her toddler. She also loves discovering new top-rated restaurants, swimming, playing basketball, and snowboarding.
