Occupational Therapist

Shanna earned her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Barry University in sunny Miami, FL. Drawing from valuable experience in both school-based and outpatient settings, she offers interventions crafted to each child’s distinctive needs. Shanna has worked with a varied group of children and adults, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Down’s Syndrome, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disabilities, each bringing their unique strengths and challenges.

Shanna believes in the power of holistic approaches, combining evidence-based techniques with a personal touch to promote comprehensive development for her young clients. Outside of her professional arena, she finds joy in crocheting, keeping active through sports, and building memories with family and friends. These activities not only keep her grounded but also remind her of the importance of personal connections and well-rounded growth.
