Speech-Language Skills
  • Follows directions with spatial concepts, “in front, in back, next to, under.”
  • Understands “long” vs. “short,” such as, “show me the girl with long hair.”
  • Identifies 2 different shapes, “square, circle, triangle”
  • Repeats 5-8 word sentences, such as, “They are washing the dog.”
  • Uses “he” and “she” correctly
  • Counts up to 10
  • Uses sentences with at least 5 words
  • Uses past tense, verb + -ed or irregular form, “washed, caught”
  • Names categories, “food, toys,”
*Refer to a Speech-Language Pathologist if the child has less than 8 items that apply.

Feeding/Dysphagia Skills
  • Consuming a variety of meats, vegetables, fruits, and liquids
  • Eats at least 10 different foods
