Maggie McMahan, M.S., CF-SLP

Speech Therapist

Maggie McMahan, M.S., CF-SLP earned her bachelor’s degrees in psychology and communication sciences and disorders from the University of Florida and her master’s degree from Florida State University.

Maggie has experience working with clients across the lifespan. She has worked with children receiving early-intervention services to adults at a skilled nursing facility. She has experience working with children with Autism, Learning and Intellectual Disabilities, Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH), Phonological/Articulation Disorders, AAC users, and other speech, language, and communication challenges.

Maggie enjoys working with clients of all ages and has received extra training in Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile (MBSImP), SPEAK OUT!, the Life Participation Approach to Aphasia. She strives to treat all clients with an individualized, person-centered framework, to achieve the best outcomes for functional communication and participation in daily life.

Outside of speech-language pathology, Maggie enjoys trying new coffee shops, spending time with her husband, watching Florida sports (Go Gators!), and going on walks outdoors. She is so excited to be a part of the team at GASLC!
