Katie Jewett, OTD, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Katie earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, along with a minor in Philosophy, from Mississippi State University. She earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from The George Washington University, where she served as the community service chair, a member of the equity committee, and completed a capstone project focused on advancing sexual health across the lifespan and strengthening OT’s role in this essential area of practice.

Katie has supported individuals and diagnoses across the lifespan including autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, learning disabilities, sensory processing differences, feeding challenges, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, frozen shoulder, and dementia. She is dedicated to promoting occupational justice, honoring each client’s starting point, and delivering equitable, client-centered services for all.

Katie spends her free time cheering on Mississippi State football—whether she’s watching from home or in the stands—going to the gym, and relaxing with her family, friends, and two cats.
