JaMyia McNeil, MOT, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

JaMyia McNeil earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Tuskegee University and is dedicated to providing thoughtful, individualized care that supports both children and their families. She brings a strong academic foundation, excellent clinical reasoning skills, and a highly adaptable therapeutic approach that allows her to effectively meet the unique developmental, sensory, and functional needs of each child she serves. JaMyia is passionate about creating engaging, play-based therapy experiences that build confidence, independence, and meaningful participation in daily routines.

JaMyia’s clinical background includes experience working with older adults as well as in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). These diverse settings have strengthened her ability to provide developmentally appropriate, patient-centered care across the lifespan while sharpening her observational skills, compassion, and attention to detail. Her time in the NICU, in particular, deepened her understanding of early development, caregiver education, and the importance of supporting families from the very beginning of a child’s journey.

She values strong collaboration with families and interdisciplinary team members and believes that the most meaningful progress happens when everyone works together toward shared goals. JaMyia is committed to ongoing learning and professional growth within the pediatric setting and continuously seeks opportunities to expand her clinical knowledge and therapeutic skill set.

Outside of the clinic, JaMyia enjoys spending time with family and friends, engaging in self-care activities, and traveling. Her warm personality, dedication to her clients, and holistic approach to care make her a valued member of the therapy team.
