Speech-Language Pathologist

Elizabeth Hebdon, M. E.d., CCC-SLP, earned her master’s degree in Communication Disorders from Valdosta State University and her bachelor’s degree at the University of Georgia. Elizabeth has clinical experience in the school system as well as the pediatric private practice setting.

Elizabeth has experiencing treating clients of all ages with a wide range of speech and language needs from childhood apraxia of Speech (CAS), various syndromes, autism spectrum disorder, articulation/phonological disorders, receptive/expressive language disorders, fluency disorders, aphasia, and social/pragmatic language disorders. Elizabeth has training/experiencing working with Gestalt language processors and has knowledge of gestalt language processing and the Natural Language Acquisition framework. Elizabeth has experience working at the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind and has taken several courses in American Sign Language. She enjoys utilizing ASL when appropriate with her clients and has experience working with Deaf/HH and blind clients.

Elizabeth values building strong rapport and meaningful relationships with her clients and their parents/caregivers. She strives to create a safe, fun, and motivating environment for all her clients. To the parents of her clients, she strives to partner with them in advocating for their child.

In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She is an avid reader and enjoys doing anything crafty. She also enjoys traveling and trying new foods. In the warmer months, Elizabeth spends most of her time on the lake with family and friends.
