Speech-Language Pathologist

Tania received her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Universidad Carlos Albizu in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Universidad Ana G. Mendez in Gurabo, Puerto Rico.

Tania holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA and is licensed in the state of Georgia. Tania spent 6 years as an SLPA before obtaining her CCCs from ASHA. After obtaining her CCCs from ASHA, Tania gained extensive experience working in both the public school system and private practice. She has provided screenings, evaluations, and treatment for children with language disorders, phonological disorders, fluency disorders, receptive/expressive language disorders, literacy, oral motor disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, dysarthria, and pragmatic deficits.

Tania is level 1 trained in PROMPT (PROMPTS for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets). She is also trained in The Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding. Tania is bilingual in Spanish and English. Tania enjoys treating children with Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
