Speech-Language Pathologist
Jenna earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences with a certificate in American Sign Language and Deaf Studies from University of Iowa and her Master’s of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Saint Louis University.
In the Chicagoland area, Jenna has experience in the private practice setting with kiddos aged birth-18 including: autism spectrum disorder, receptive/expressive language disorders, articulation/phonological disorder, social communication disorders, childhood apraxia of speech and fluency disorders. Her specific areas of interest include AAC, social pragmatics, receptive/expressive language and pediatric speech.
Jenna is bilingual in American Sign Language. Her favorite part about being an SLP is learning about each client’s strengths/interests and using them during therapy to make communication fun and enjoyable! Jenna loves creating individualized therapy plans to ensure she develops great rapport and the most successful learning environment for her clients.
In her free time, Jenna enjoys watching sports, spending time with family/friends, reading, cycling/boxing, trying new restaurants and cheering on Iowa Hawkeyes Football!
